The Father Deane Foundation Fund Trust was originally set up for two objectives:
1. During the life of Father Deane, to promote his physical, mental, psychological well being by providing emotional and financial support
2. Upon his death to establish a scholarship in Father's name for outstanding students studying at St. Louis School, Hong Kong.
Therefore, upon his death the Trustees have been engaged in the establishment of the Scholarship. We have held discussions with SLOBA Assets Ltd a Limited Company held by Guarantee with a board whose members are past and present SLOBA presidents. It was set up to manage assets and financial interests of SLOBA Hong Kong.
With their kind consent to act as the Trust’s agent, the Scholarship will be made available to St Louis School students as early as 2008.
