I am happy to report that Fr has recovered. He had a very tough week and Helen was really exhausted. Fr had a temperature nearly every day even after taking the antibiotics. Fr was very tense and stiff and it was very difficult for Helen to dress him. A couple of times he could not even eat fish or much of anything at all. He had so much phlegm that you would not know where it came from. They constantly had to suctioned him or bang on his back to help him cough. Well yesterday was the first day that Fr had a good day.

Helen said to him when she was putting clothes on him, " I am so happy with you today because you can help me this morning. You were so stiff last week that I had a tough time." Fr said to her, " I am sorry about that"

Hope he could have a good run before the next episode.

Last week, Fr's condition was up and down. In fact there were more downs than  ups. He had recurring temperature. ....he was not able to get rid of the temperature on paracetamol.

... I was told that he had a better night on Thurs. He was on oxygen sometimes and the nebulizer to help him cough up the phlegm. The Dr said that his chest was clear but he had mild diarrhea. Helen said it took her half an hour to make him drink a glass of liquid. The home has been very good, giving him fish every evening. .....

I received a phone call early this morning from Helen.

Fr vomited at 6am Easter Sunday. He has a high temperature, and was not able to swallow. ..... Could not even swallow much liquid, just had a couple of spoonful of jelly for the whole day. He was jerking a lot. Helen managed to give him his PD tablets before she went home in the evening.

Pls pray for him.

Fr was not well last week with swallowing and breathing problem. He was not able to eat his fish dinner on Fri. Luckily he is OK now.

I heard from the news that the Pope was not recovering well. The Pope and Fr's condition is the same. We only hope the problem would not happen too often.
