The day has come. I never realise that I shall be on the platform here on a day like today because so many people who deserve to be here but could not make it and not because they do not want to. The excuse is that I am looking for the limelight while you poor fellows are left there in the dark staying away to make it a success. Well, I do not mean to make it that way but I am sure happy to be among you today, the Old Boys from the school in Hong Kong.
One thing I would enjoy very much and that is a visit to Australia and New Zealand, and Hong Kong, of course. Of course, this would clear up all the regrets I have had and I feel that it is only just then a passing goodbye to all you have done.
Thank you for all the time (for me) y all the Old Boys both here (Australia) and in Hong Kong, I appreciate every moment of it. And I thank you sincerely for being such wonderful boys and give me such wonderful support for everything I did in my nearly 40 years. Thanks a million for all the time you had for me. Every bit of it is appreciated. And I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I did.
And always stay close to Don Bosco. He helps you a lot because in times of danger he is there to help you.
So that is it for now. Thanks for all the trouble again. And God bless you and all your families, your own families, your own families' families. That should cover most of you. I hope I have gone some way to satisfy the recognition I mean to give. Thank you. God bless you!
