Fr had a beautiful funeral service. Fr Joe, his brother was the chief celebrant and there were about 8 Salesain priests including Provincial Fr Horan concelebrating the Requiem Mass. Fr Foster gave a very generous and gracious homily of Fr Deane. A couple of old boys read out condolence messages from friends and old boys after Mass. Fr was buried in Palaskenry, Co Limerick. He was dressed in a white robe and had a rosary wrapped round his fingers with a St Louis School tie at his side.
Bosco and Chris in Ireland, Eugene Ha, David Leung from Hong Kong, Andrew Au from the US, Alex Wong, Tony Wong and Theresa Lee from Australia attended the mass and funeral.
