Fr has lost his 2 front teeth last Sat night. No one seemed to know exactly how. On Sun morning, Carolyn noticed his 2 front teeth were missing and informed the head nurse. Varian spoke to me on the phone and said may be they fell off at night when they suctioned him because he had a slight temperature those few days and needed to be suctioned. She said he sometimes bite the tube and it could be that.

Well he has no temperature now and has no pain. The dentist came to see him and said the root of the teeth that were embedded in the gum may cause infection later on so it has to be removed. He is going to have the procedure done at the n/home Wed night. Eileen Deane and Helen will be there with him. .....

Will keep you posted.

By the way, Fr Mckenna, Foster, Coffey and Fr Conroy from Macau visited him last Wed. Another old boy visited him last Fri. I think his name is Alan Yu. He told Helen he had heard about the Fr Deane foundation and is happy to see Fr being well looked after. He said he should have done more. Helen said he is a very nice man.

Fr had the root of his teeth removed without much problem. but he had problem swallowing lately and had a lot of phelgm. He had to be suctioned often.

Sometimes he was sweating just trying to get the phelgm out but not able to. He now had problem with his bowel movement too. Helen is trying to give him more fruit. It seems his PD condition is getting worse.
