Dear Theresa,

I spoke to Johnnie Foster a while ago on the telephone and it seems that when he visited Fr Pat after his holiday and when he took him out on St Patrick's Day he thought Pat was much worse than before he went away and he was not able to communicate with Pat at all – Also he had to bring Pat to the loo which he found very difficult!!!

Anyway, I asked if there was any development as regards changing nursing homes and he confirmed that there are none and that there appeared to be no pressure from Our Lady's Manor for Pat to leave.  I said that Pat was very settled there now and felt secure and at home there, so a change would probably be very traumatic for him.  Foster agreed and thought that there should not be a problem for  Pat to stay where he is ………..

I checked with Mr Bourke and his apartment is available at the end of May.  So if you want me to book it let  me know.

With Best Regards

Bosco
